THE LOCAL AREA
A microcosm of London's shifting ethnic patterns, the area around Brick Lane in East London was once associated with poor slums and the scene of the crime for the Jack the Ripper murders. Whilst the notorious pub Ten Bells still stands, the area itself is now extremely popular with London’s edgy and artistic crowd, featuring galleries, restaurants, markets and festivals throughout the year.
The Old Truman Brewery at 91 Brick Lane houses a vibrant market where up-and-coming designers set up shop every Sunday selling a unique variety of clothes, handbags and jewellery. There are also vintage clothing stores and chic boutiques dotted around the area.
As a hub of London's Bangladeshi community, Brick Lane has always been famed for its many authentic curry restaurants. It now also has a reputation for its warehouse art exhibitions and trendy clubs and bars. So, before your East London experience is complete, be sure to head to the Vibe Bars beer garden or 93 Feet East (150 Brick Lane) which has become an East End institution well known for its eclectic mix of live music and intimate atmosphere.
London's oldest market, Spitalfields is now a seven-days-a-week destination. Spitalfields markets, once a Sunday-only mainstay, are open every day. Resplendent under a Fosters & Partners-designed glass canopy, Spitalfields Traders Market and shops offer cutting edge fashion and interiors, original artworks and as well as food.
Spitalfields market is surrounded by independent shops, cafes, bars and awarding winning restaurants like Canteen, Galvin La Chapell and Giraffe.
COLUMBIA STREET FLOWER MARKET
For an authentic East London experience, nothing comes close to Columbia Road market on a Sunday morning. Jam packed with the best blooms in the capital, it’s a lively and pretty noisy affair (and not for those who prefer peace and quiet on a Sunday), with salt-of-the-earth Eastender types, shouting at the top of their lungs and all trying to outdo one another's patter.
During the rest of the week you can dine and shop at the rest of the quaint little restaurants and boutiques.
THIS IS THE BEST PLACE TO BE IF YOU WANT TO EXPERIENCE LONDON AT ITS BEST!!!

I am normally happy with the rooms but this time the wardrobe was dirty! Had dust all over the top and inside of the wardrobe. Other than that, is a really good apartment.
The location was very good, 5 minutes walking from the underground station and close to tourist places. The flat was clean and the room too, the kitchen was well equiped, washing machine, etc. I definetly would come back.
Best value for money.
So the standard of the room corresponds to the amount I paid for rent (outside the radiator who was permanently switched on and there was no possibility of its closure). Ktchen was of a good Standard. The bathroom was so small the person with overweight certainly to her would not fit. We could not to use the shower and washbasin because the tub was clogged all the time. The pipes in the bathroom leaked water all the time on ground floor.
So far as I can this apartment to recommend for the future.
The booking was quick and easy. After booking, I received useful information for arrival. Room, kitchen and bathroom were very clean. The kitchen is fully equipped. The images correspond to reality. The Metro is reached in about 3Minuten walk. I can recommend the hotel without reservation.
Super rooms in a quiet, yet central location.
Unfortunately the wireless was not working. But at vielne places in the city and at most subway stations there are free WIFI.
The kitchen is cozy and perfectly fitted.
Cohabitation with the other tenants was very harmonious.
I can always imagine to come back to me.
Really a nice and quit place close to stations, supermarkets and the lively area of shoreditch high street and brick lane. We definitely would come again!
The house is well located, with bus and subway quite close, a cheap supermarket opposite and many restaurants and bars to eat. Inside, the apartment is as illustrated above. However, the windows do not isolate anything or noise or cold. We had good weather, so the issue of cold did not affect us, but the noise really is quite annoying, as the windows overlook a busy street. One tip, if you plan to use the fridge Try to make your food in some way (a pen, a note ...) because we agree with other guests and when they were (I guess it would Kazzos) threw the food left (until then all good) but also he threw our mistake, forcing us to go urgently to a supermarket to buy dinner.
Perfect to stay for a couple of days! Clean sheets and towels provided. Also bathroom and kitchen were always clean and looked after.
It was not at all a nice stay. The bath tub got filled up every time anybody took a shower. It would take hours for the water to drain. I sent emails to Kazzos and he answered he would send someone but he didinot. We couldnt take a shower the last 2 days. It was too small that bathroom for a 4 double room house.
Also doors need to be greased, make terrible noise every time a guest opens or closes a door. Drawers fell down as you pn them.
The only thing is worth is the location but needs more money spent in manteinance. I would NOT repeat.
