The neighborhood of Graça is located on the highest hill of Lisbon, with its sights of the best places where you can see the city. The terraces and viewpoints in the city provide a quiet and are great places to enjoy the light of Lisbon, the setting of the sun and stunning views over the River Tagus. In this neighborhood of Graça, at the shrine of Nossa Senhora do Monte, is one of the most beautiful sights of the Portuguese capital. The viewpoint of Senhora do Monte has the shape of half an orange, is shaded by leafy trees that surround it, and also counts a mosaic indicative of sites that can spot up there. Leaving the house to see Lisbon and you can take tram 28, and admire the narrow, hilly streets of this typical transport slopes. In one of the busiest streets of the city, of Grace Street, there are several mini markets, grocery stores, shops and cafes. The 5 minutes is the Pantheon and Cathedral (Cathedral) and about 10 minutes from the splendid Museum of Fado (Fado - Intangible Heritage of Humanity) and Tile Museum, and the surprising Castelo de São Jorge. With a curious mixture of cosmopolitanism and rurality, this area is known and sought after throughout this environment, where there is an atmosphere that is considered unique. The neighborhood is adjacent to the Grace of Alfama, one of the oldest in Lisbon, residential and also with traditional sights, cafes, churches, reflecting the real spirit of the old Lisbon with its alleys, humble homes, clothes hanging in clothesline, dogs, cats, artists and fado houses. If you like outdoor fairs do not miss the flea market, the market's oldest city, 5 minutes from the apartment where you can buy clothes, furniture, vintage magazines, etc..There are several buses to go anywhere in the city, just down to the station Santa Apolonia, 10 minutes, although one can easily walk to the main points of the city.End the day by taking a drink from the viewpoint of Grace, near the Castle of São Jorge, where you can admire the entire city. There may be some kind of show, most likely, someone singing Fado.

The appartment is cosy and located in the old Graça district, where the charming old tram 28 takes you. We were given a warm welcome by our friendly and helpful hostess. There was clean linen for everyone and the beds were comfortable. We had a most enjoyable stay and will certainly come back here.
We had an amazing stay in Lisbon. The flat was perfect and everyone welcomed us warmly. We loved the beatuful view over Lisbon and the wonderful atmosphere in Gracia! Thanks a lot!
The Apartment is prefectly located, clean and has everything you Need. Filipe and his Team Are very friendly and helpfull. He also allowed us to Check out two Hours later, which was very kind. I highly recommend the Stay there.
It was a very nice landlord and the accommodation was spacious and well respected judge.
I hope i see you soon.
We spent some days in the studio and really enjoyed the nice view of the kitchen-window. It is no worth cooking in the apartment as going out for lunch is really cheap and the kitchen is just equipped to prepare a quick sandwich or pasta, not a hole meal. Clean bathroom and rooms, only the bed is, in my opinion, very uncomfortable and not like written "getting out of the bed will be difficult" in a positive sense. Communication with the host was very easy, friendly and cooperative!!
For the last days we had to move to another apartment as they started with some demolition works next door. But this may occur at any place and WIMDU really did a good job to solve this problem. Thanks a lot for this!
We felt like beeing at home with our two children (14, 15) in Graca flat. It was nice, clean, all functioning kitchen and bathroom, good view from 4.th floor and little balcony with river view in large distant but real lisboa atmosphere, we can recommend it to other familys, also for 6 persons. Internet was little bit slow and in tv there were some english channels. The communication with housekeeper was great!! We would come again!
Nice apartment and very friendly and helpful hosts. Only we were missing a wardrobe or some shelfs to store our cloths. The area was perfect to start exploring Lisbon. At night a bit loud.
nice location, everything was fine. thanks to some frensh party people was noisy that days. bathroom is very small and on suite!! was clean but somehow very used. maybe you like to bring your own pillow.
It is a spacious, clean and well located (short walk to Bairro Alto, Viewpoint, Rossio, etc.) ikea flat. Marisa estimated our arrival time pretty right, so the check-in went smoothly and on top we got a lot of good advice what to do, see and how to get around! :) If you plan on cooking in the flat you might bring your own salt and pepper from home, if you don't want to buy it. All the kitchen supplies are available but there is nothing like salt, tea or coffee.
The bed is comfortable. Not sure about the couch, if you are more than tweo people, but it will work for a few days I guess. If you have a light sleep you better bring earplugs (it's a quiet neighbourhood and not loud at all, but if there's noise outside you can hear it).
I can definitely recommend the flat as homebase for a short trip to Lisbon and the Short Stay Flat team and service is wonderful! :)
